ENGIE holds the special Environment Day webinar “More Sustainable Recovery of the Economy”
ENGIE, Brazil’s largest private-sector electric energy company, active in electric energy generation, trading and transmission, as well as gas transportation and energy solutions, will hold the webinar “More Sustainable Recovery of the Economy” on Thursday next (June 4), at 6 p.m., for a special Environment Day edition.
The discussion will center mainly on a greener and more sustainable recovery of the Brazilian economy after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The webinar will be hosted by ENGIE BRASIL’s Communication and Social Responsibility Director, Gil Maranhão Neto, and webcast live on the company’s Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/engiebrasil).
The conversation will include topics like biodiversity protection and partnerships involving suppliers, customers, companies and governments, in addition to institutional investors’ views. The debate panel will feature experts Maya Colombani, Director of L’Óreal’s Sustainability Program, Rose Mirian Hofmann, Environmental Licensing and Expropriation Support Secretary of the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI) of the Ministry of Economy, and Gleice Donini, Sustainability Superintendent of Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (B3).

Maya Colombani is responsible for the Sustainability Program in L’Oréal’s whole value chain, leading a multidisciplinary of 30 specialists, with projects which support the growth and reputation of the company nationally and internationally.
Rose Mirian Hofmann – Environmental Licensing and Expropriation Support Secretary at PPI – the Federal Government’s Investment Partnerships Programs from the Ministry of Economy. Gleice Donini: Sustainability Superintendent at B3. Formed in Geography and with a master in Environmental Sciences at USP. More than 15 years’ experience in sustainability projects in large companies such as Aracruz Celulose, Banco Real ABN AMRO, Banco Santander and Cielo. Currently Gleice is responsible for the implementation of the Sustainability strategy agenda of B3.
