ENGIE Brasil Energia receives ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System certification

ENGIE Brasil Energia has been recertified under the ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System, which covers a series of internationally recognized rules. The aim of these is to help companies with their programs of compliance, prevention of bribery in operations and processes, as well as in activities of all their business partners.

The Company was audited as part of the process of world certification of ENGIE as a whole, with internal practices analyzed and certified by the international company, Eurocompliance, with headquarters in Paris, all the requirements under the Standard being executed. Among these are: identification of non-conformities for implementation of corrective actions, realization of audits and frequent internal monitoring and the establishment of procedures for preventing the offer, supply of any action which characterizes bribery, among others.

In addition to the policies which cover the themes of business compliance, ENGIE develops training programs and annual awareness campaigns for its employees to ensure the implementation, monitoring and control of transparent and integral practices, as well as consolidating the Company’s culture and values.
