ENGIE, the largest private sector energy company in Brazil with a focus on electric energy generation, commercialization and transmission, gas infrastructure and energy solutions, is to take over the operation and maintenance of TAG\u2019s gas pipeline network. By December more than 240 new professional personnel are to be hired by the company to work in the area and perform the service which will be executed by Transpetro until June 2022.
\nTAG has the most extensive gas transmission pipeline in the country at approximately 4,500 km and accounting for 47% of the total gas transportation network in Brazil. A total of 3,700 km runs along the country\u2019s coastal region, transecting nearly 200 municipalities in nine Brazilian states \u2013 Cear\u00e1, Rio Grande do Norte, Para\u00edba, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Bahia, Esp\u00edrito Santo and Rio de Janeiro \u2013 and a further 800 km in the Amazon, a section which connects the Urucu oil field to Manaus in the state of Amazonas.
\nThe vacancies to be open by ENGIE are to work in cities in the North, Northeast and Southeast regions. In August, the company will begin training the operational team. To apply for one of the positions offered, candidates should enroll through the Jobs.engie.com site
